Earthly possessions bring temporary comfort but never truly last, so Jesus calls us to focus on storing up heavenly treasure that endures forever. Since everything we have comes from God, we are to hold it loosely, live generously, and prioritize eternal impact - remembering that God Himself is our greatest treasure.

The Sin of Evil-Speaking
Evil speaking is not a small flaw—it is a serious sin that wounds others, divides the church, and grieves the Spirit. It hides behind “sharing concerns” or “telling the truth,” but God calls it sin when words poison hearts. Go directly to restore in love, or cover the fault in silence; but never use your tongue to tear down what Christ died to build up.
Rachel died.
“And Rachel died.” She was Jacob’s first love, his 21 years of labor, his everything. But Jacob buried her and moved on. So bury your Rachel—the loss, the betrayal, the wasted years—then wipe your tears and keep going. Where there’s life, there’s hope.
HOW MUCH DO I TRUST IN GOD-Lessons from Hezekiah
Hezekiah’s life teaches us that true faith trusts God in every situation. Despite overwhelming opposition, he relied on God’s strength rather than human power, and God delivered him. His example reminds us to stand firm, pray, and trust that the Lord will fight our battles.
